Microcare Anti Static Circuit Chiller Anti-Stat Micro·Freeze is engineered for low-temperature, non-destructive thermal testing of electronic components with minimal static generation. Anti-Stat Micro·Freeze quickly chills components to -45ºC/-55ºF or lower. This product is ozone-safe, non-toxic, plastic-safe, and non-flammable. Use to cool equipment prior to testing, dissipate heat when soldering, or test circuit traces for stress fractures or loss of continuity and for thermally isolating intermittent components on circuit boards. The difference is that the FRZA is anti-static. Hence the A in the part number. The primary ingredient, HFC-134A, is the same in both products. If you look at the MSDS you will note that the FRZA has a small amount of alcohol. This provides the static protection if you were to use the FRZA on a board that had power.
