Over 50 Years of Trusted Electronics Supply in New Zealand

From humble beginnings in the 1970s, Baskiville has grown into one of New Zealand’s most trusted suppliers of electronics equipment, consumables, and technical solutions.

The company was founded by Harrold Baskiville Robinson, who began by importing and supplying quality soldering irons and stations to the electronics industry across New Zealand. Over time, he expanded the range to include European printers, placement equipment, specialist cleaners, consumables, and ESD-safe static control products from the USA.

In 2006, Harrold sold Baskiville Enterprises to Ian Fowler, who relocated the warehouse from Waikanae to his hometown of Methven.

Eighteen years on, the business continues to evolve.
Today, Baskiville supplies state-of-the-art machinery and tooling for PCB manufacture and repair, robotic and hand-soldering systems, quality consumables for every soldering process, training, compliance checks, and ESD 20:20–standard solutions including cleaners, coatings, and potting compounds.

Baskiville now supports over 109 international brands, helping make the New Zealand electronics supply chain more dependable, resilient, and well-equipped for the future.
