The KNIPEX CoBolt® S 71 31 160 Compact Bolt Cutters are designed for powerful cutting in confined spaces, combining high performance with a compact 160 mm body. This model features a recess in the cutting edge, enabling more efficient cutting of larger cross-sections by improving leverage near the fulcrum. With a slim head for excellent accessibility and induction-hardened precision blades (cutting edge hardness approx. 64 HRC), the tool delivers exceptional results even on piano wire, screws, and springs. A lasered cutting edge ensures secure material hold with no slippage during cutting. Its robust lever-action mechanism allows for reduced physical effort while maintaining high cutting force, and an integrated gripping surface below the joint makes pulling wires from Ø 1.0 mm easy and efficient. The black atramentized finish offers corrosion protection, while plastic-coated handles provide comfortable handling.
