The Caltex Metal-In Tubing (12" X 500ft) is a transparent, electrostatic-shielding roll designed to create a static-safe environment for sensitive electronic devices. Its metal-in, five-layer construction offers excellent protection against electrostatic discharge (ESD), punctures, and tears, making it ideal for handling printed circuit boards, subassemblies, and other sensitive electronics. The tubing is sold as a roll and is manufactured to meet MIL-PRF-81705E TY.III CL.2 standards. Applications: *Safe storage and handling of printed circuit boards and electronic subassemblies. *Packaging of sensitive electronic components in manufacturing or assembly environments. *Protection of devices against electrostatic discharge during transport or storage. *Laboratory and workshop use where ESD-sensitive devices require shielding. *Use in automated or manual production lines requiring static-safe packaging.
