FX888D Digital soldering Station The new FX888D supersedes existing analogue model FX888, it offers digital display and more programmable features. It is a general purpose digital display soldering iron suitable for lead free and leaded solder applications, designed for fine pitch SMD soldering applications and through hole. FX888D has an adjustable temperature range from 200ºC ~ 480ºC with easy programmable functions accessed by 2 buttons; Standard mode the temperature can be changed up or down to what is required Pre-set Mode, 5 stored pre-sets temperatures can be accessed. Other functions are the supervisor's temperature lock, controlled by password and an easy to follow calibration procedure. The new tip range (T18) has a larger copper mass which aids soldering high thermal demand solder joints.
